Rare Omani Camel Milk Basket

872. Description: Vintage handmade Omani Bedouin camel milk basket, interlaced with leather strips, collected in Muscat some 40 years ago while on a business trip to the area. The piece is in good condition given its age.

These were approximately 70-80 years old when I purchased them so they have seen a good bit of history. They are very delicate and have to be handled carefully given the condition of the leather. They have a heavy patina on them from the years they have witnessed. Dimensions are approximately 3.5"x 8".
